NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme VS. E.l.f Studio Lip Stain

When I fist heard of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams I could not wait to try them, but time passed and I forgot about them until last week when I stopped by Ulta and NYX was BOGO 50% off so I decided to pick up two.By the time I was back in my car my lipstick had worn off so I decided to pop on one of the Lip Creams to try it out and as I applied it I could not help but to be reminded of the E.l.f Studio Lip Stain the texture of the the color side is identical on the lips. The questions now are whether they are comparable and ultimately which one is better.

Favorite:Coastal Scents Shadow Worx Matte Eyeshadow Primer

As most of you know by now using a primer is something you need to do if yo want to make sure that your eyeshadow last all day. We all know that primer is basic but it can be hard to find a primer that is reasonably priced and that actually works. In my search to try to find the primer of my dreams I tried the usual and all popular Urban Decay Primer Potion but to my surprise it did not work for me, it creased within an hour of wearing it, it look streaky on my lid and it just was not what I expected for twenty dollars.I also tried the Laura Geller Eye Spackle but it was too drying and did not work well for me and at twenty-five dollar not worth the trouble. I decided to go the complete opposite route and tried the E.L.F Eye Primer from the dollar line, this worked amazingly but it sometimes looked a little powdery around my brow bone area when my skin was dry, so I was not completely satisfied.
When I first hear that Coastal Scents had a primer I did not feel the need to try it right away but when they had a sale on their website I decided to pick it up.

Physicians Formula Nude Eyes Liners

Recently I was at CVS and found the newest collection of Physicians Formula Lines and Shadows called Nude Eyes; an expansion of a previously released collection. I had seen some pictures of the liquid metal liners online and really wanted to try them so when I saw them there I could not wait to get home and try them. But sadly when I was home I was so disappointed and here is why:

Coastal Scents Brush Haul

Coastal Scents has one of the best Black Friday sale, 50% off their entire website. So when the sale came around this year I could not help myself.I ordered 6 different brushes but nine brushes in total because I ordered multiples of some. The brushes came packaged in the a really cute wrapping paper.

New Wet n' Wild Pallets?... Not Really

As I walked through the aisles of the drugstore my eyes could not help but be drawn to a selections of pallets that look oh so similar to my beloved Wet n' Wild 8 pan palettes but they were not in the Wet n' Wild section of the store, I was intrigued. Upon further inspection I realized that these palettes were from Black Radiance, I as read the back of the palette I discovered that they are own by Markwins, who also happens to make Wet n' Wild. Black Radiance is a line of cosmetics designed for women of color, but I though that when it comes to eye shadow your skin color does not matter. They had three different palettes, I decided to pick up one of the palettes that seemed different from what I already had and a color that I would actually wear.

REVIEW:COVERGIRL Lipperfection Jumbo Gloss Balms

As I walked through the beauty aisles of my store I could not find anything that I wanted but as I was about to leave I turned and my eyes caught a glimpse of P!ink the new Covergirl, and right there the new Jumbo Gloss Balms and I just had to try them.I bought three of the shades, I think that there is a total of 12 shades. So here is what I think:

Something that I really did not like about the packaging of these is that the name of the color is on the wrapper that the product comes in and when you take that off you no longer have the name on the actual product, just a number. Something else that I found unpleasant was the scent of the products, they smell like what cheap old lipsticks smell like;that plastic scent. The smell goes away after you apply it but never the less I am not a fan of the scent.Since it is on your lips you are bound to get some in your mouth luckily these do not taste like anything.

Rimmel London Stay Glossy

The Rimmel London Stay Glossy glosses caught my eye because of the large selection of colors that they offer, 24 shades in total. My local store happen to carry about 16 of the shades.I happen to buy 5 of them.

So here are some swatches and my opinion on every shade I own;

Wet n' Wild: Coloricon Lip Liners

Recently I been on the hunt for some lip liners and since I wasn't sure if I was going to use them every time I used lipstick I didn't want to spend big bucks. So I went to one of my favorite brands Wet n' Wild. At the store, they had six different colors so I decided to pick them all up because you can't beat $.93 cents.Looking at their website I was able to find out that the Coloricon line only offers six colors in total, but the picture of the colors are extremely deceiving.
Five of the colors in the line come in a matte finish, the other one called Brandy Wine has a metallic finish. All of the pencils are very soft and have a great color payoff. The liners can be a little drying but if you have moisturized your lips before applying them you will be fine.As in with any other lip product I would recommend that you exfoliate your lips prior to applying anything on them, to avoid any flaky, crackly lips. I have not heard too much buzz about these lip liners but for the price they are a great deal.I hope that Wet n' Wild decides to expand their color selection because these are an unbeatable deal, and I would love to add more colors to my collection.

Loving my Smile

For quite a while I had known that I wanted to do something about my teeth, they had been looking a little bit too yellow and  I was not pleased. So when influenster offered to send me a box of Crest 3D White Whitestrips Professional Effects I knew that it was meant to be.

This treatment will cost you around $49.99. It seem a little bit expensive right, well I thought so too  but when I read more into it you are only supposed to use this treatment up to twice within a 12 month period. So if you think about it, compared to other treatment it seem pretty affordable. This kit comes with 20 Whitening strips, you are supposed to use one once a day for 20 days. It says to apply the strips before brushing your teeth, wait 30 minutes and remove the strips, then brush your teeth.I use this at night before  going to bed, I put them on and leave them on while I'm getting ready for bed. These were an easy addition to my night routine and because it is so simple to apply them it easy to keep using them and not want to skip a night.  The question is do they work?
